The Bigs
For Xbox 360 (Also for PSP, Wii, PS2 and PS3)

If you are looking for a souped-up and pimped-out version of Major League Baseball 2k7, you should check out The Bigs. While not quite as over-the-top as games like Midway’s MLB Slugfest or Blitz: the League, The Bigs certainly does pack a punch. In what the developers are deeming a “heroic” baseball game, the emphasis with this title is on the stars that make Major League Baseball fun to watch. With The Bigs, games last only 5 innings, and they play a bit faster than your average baseball sim, which is actually pretty cool. You can expect to finish a game in around 20-25 minutes, give or take. With easy to pick up controls and a familiar, yet fresh, user interface, The Bigs is great for Baseball fans looking for a quick and fulfilling video game fix. Good Game, Peace out.

Play Street Fighter Alpha 2 via GGPO from Shoryuken.com
Sometimes, you just can’t get through to some people. Especially hardcore fighting game players. You tell them that the newest fighting games should be online, but they snap back at you with things like: “No way! Lag would ruin it!” or “Online games are for scrubs!” Well, maybe they are right, or at least partially right, but now, some of the developers/fanatics at Shoryuken.com have come up with a new way to play fighting games online that eliminates the lag that plagues online play for so many people, lag that makes them hate playing online. With GGPO, latency is hidden in a way that allows the game to run at full speed, and there is no delay in the form of input lag. If you hated playing fighting games online before, give GGPO a try and see if it can’t change your mind about them. You can find everything you need to know about GGPO at GGPO.net.
