Judge Marilyn Milian presides over the courtroom that launched the entire television court show genre. Judge Marilyn Milian brings over 18 years of legal experience to the bench. “The People’s Court” is a one-hour nationally syndicated reality-based court show featuring real litigants…real justice…all year long!
Joining Milian is multiple Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter Harvey Levin, who serves as the series’ host and legal reporter. In addition to introducing the cases to viewers, Levin literally takes “The People’s Court” to the people by polling viewers gathers in New York City at the Times Square Information Center, who watch the cases via monitor.
In-court reporter Curt Chaplin and court officer Douglas McIntosh assist Judge Milian in the courtroom. Chaplin interviews litigants after a decision has been rendered in their cases. As court officer, McIntosh helps Milian in maintaining courtroom order, as well as acting as an intermediary between the Judge and the litigants.
