The Outer Limits is an anthology show in which each episode is a self-contained story with a plot twist. Now in its 7th season The Outer Limits blurs the line between fact and fiction and celebrates the human imagination by making the unbelievable seem frighteningly real.
In its original incarnation the show ran for two seasons from 1963 to 1965 in black-and-white. It was revived in 1995 and ran for seven seasons, until 2002.
Like the classic 1960s series of the same name, each episode is a celebration of the human imagination in which humanity’s exploration of new frontiers in technology, outer space and the human experience reveal our greatest hopes and darkest fears. Stories on The Outer Limits have explored the consequences of such controversial and thought-provoking topics as genetic manipulation, alien visitation and life after death.
The series was produced by Alliance Atlantis and Trilogy, with Pen Densham, John Watson, Mark Stern and Michael Sloan as executive producer.
