Battle Royale 2
Haley Reep

The Inner Battle is much more entertaining.

I don’t think boys could be anymore difficult. I don’t care what anyone says, people can’t classify girls as one thing and guys as another. The categories are the same for both. Guys fall into some of the same sides as the girls do and vice versa. What I’m trying to say is you can find guys that are just as annoying as most girls can be. Calling all the time, asking too many questions, complaining, and whining. The worst is jealousy, but I’m not even gonna go there, because those people need to get over it and be secure with themselves before they come along and ruin everyone else’s good time. I think timing has a lot to do with everything too. Let’s begin from where one of my really stupid, wish I never dated that person, relationships ended. I was free at last! I’m about to be 22, so I can admit that I like to drink alcoholic beverages and go to the Jaguar games. I stopped dating the psycho guy, starting hanging out with one of his friends, and at the same time had another one of my friends calling to hang out. Having choices is so much fun. Anyway, I stopped hanging out with the first guy because it was going nowhere, and decided to let the other one pursue. My friend, actually the girl that coaches the dance team, invited me to come along with her and her then boyfriend on a party bus to the Jags game. I was sooo excited because it was one of the last games, unfortunately I had such a good time, I don’t remember who we played, and we only sat in our seats for one quarter until I couldn’t stand watching the field spin any longer. We made our way to the Bud Zone and watched the rest of the game. Oddly enough, the guy I was letting pursue, popped out of nowhere. I knew he was going to be at the game, but I didn’t expect to see him. The encounter was brief though because the game was ending. We left the stadium and headed back to the party bus. We were leaving and another guy, who was with us the whole time and who is HIGHLY attractive, decided to sit next to me on the ride home. Is this too much for you to handle, because I’m almost getting confused!

The ride home was very fun, until another guy, his friend… one of the annoying girl types that thought he had a chance with me, blurted out, too bad you have a girlfriend. No No, I don’t play that game. Still though the highly attractive guy asked for my phone number and I said no because he had a girlfriend. He actually came to my work a week later to apologize and explain that he really was broken up with the girl and he was dealing with a lot of drama. Red flag! It was at that point that things were heating up with the pursuit boy. He also came to my work one night and ate some food, but I didn’t think anything of it because he is one of my friends and I thought he was just hangin out. Yeah, I kinda fall in the girls who act like boys side of my earlier established categories. Pursuit boy kept calling and calling to hang out, not in an annoying way though, it was a good way. I didn’t think I wanted a boyfriend at the time because I was thinking all guys are crazy and the highly attractive ones are scumbags. Sure enough we started dating and now we’re broken up. Yep, if you read my other blogs you might have figured out that pursuit guy is the one I dated for a year and am currently not with anymore. I guess if you play with fire you get burned.

Now I’m back at square one, but with so much more knowledge. I think I was in dating drama school the whole time I dated that guy. I definitely loved him, and now I don’t want to rush into anything else until I give myself time to get back on my game. It makes things easier being in school, but now I have one guy blowin up my text messages… which first of all, even though I am an avid texter now, I use to be anti, It’s so cowardly. If you want to talk to a girl or a guy, words should be spoken, not written. Fun Fun, now I get to deal with guys that get on my nerves and trying to decide who is a jerk and who isn’t, and whether or not I even want to start over again. For now, I’m concentrating on school and work. Guys can wait because they’re stupid anyway. Try going to the Ritz without getting hounded and protecting your butt from being grabbed… then let me know if you agree.
